Vanity of vanities, says the Teacher; all is vanity. Ecc 1:2
In our current sermon series, Finding Meaning in a Fleeting World, we’re exploring how Ecclesiastes reveals the emptiness of life apart from God — and how the gospel of Jesus opens the way to something far better.

Adult Education: The Doctrines of Grace
Sundays, Nov 2 - Dec 14 | 9AM | upper-level meeting room
Starting November 2 we will be kicking off a Adult Ed series on 'The Doctrines of Grace'– that is how God saves sinners. Over seven weeks we will expound and extol how this great, gracious and glorious salvation unfolds from eternity past into an everlasting future. These doctrines have always been the cherished treasure for saints across history for they furnish a display of the glory of God in its most ravishing vesture. Team taught by elders Jon Hinkson and Tyler Dueno.

Men’s Breakfast
Saturday, nov 8 | 9-11AM | fellowship hall
At Trinity, we are blessed with a great number of Godly men, young and old. One of the joys and privileges we have in God's kingdom is the opportunity to walk alongside believers from different stages and walks of life. To that end, join us on the next in our series of men's breakfasts, where we can come together and share, teach, admonish, and pray with one another. We hope you'll join us! Childcare will be available. If you're planning on joining, please let Ralph Hansen or David Daniel know (especially if childcare is needed).
University Ministry Reception
& Book Table
Sunday, Nov 9 | 11:30am | Lower-Level Meeting Room
All students are invited to join us for a reception and book table this Sunday, Nov 9, after the service. This will be a chance to pick up a book or two to read over the coming breaks, as well as to have fellowship with one another and the university ministry team. We hope you will come by! Any questions, please contact Pastor Matt
Thanksgiving All-Church Potluck Lunch
Sunday, Nov 16 | After Morning Worship | Fellowship Hall
Join us in the fellowship hall following our Thanksgiving Testimony Service for this special time we look forward to each year. Please bring an entrée or side dish to share with others. As oven space is limited to keeping a few things warm, please bring your food cooked, plated and ready to serve. Crockpots are great for this event! We have a couple that can be borrowed so just ask if you need one. If you can also bring a pie for our popular pie table, let us know. Whipped cream and hot & cold beverages will be provided by the church. Help is needed for setup, during lunch and for cleanup. Contact Kirsten or Amanda in person or email us at fellowship@trinity-baptist.org
Thanksgiving Day Dinner

Each year Trinity offers a Thanksgiving Day fellowship opportunity to those in our church who are in New Haven without family. We can accommodate 40 folks for a traditional Thanksgiving dinner but participants must register by Monday, November 24. If you have questions, contact Kathy Abbott.
